Number of name.ru domain Names grew by 60% in 2006
Accoding to Interfax (russian information agency) the number of second-level domain names, registered in the .ru zone grew by 60.78% in 2006 compared with 2005, exceeding 718,236. The RU-Center become the largest registrar of Russia (www.domainname.ru) domains.
